Stephen James Abbott, 24, of Walland, TN, passed away July 28, 2002. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lanettie Williams. Survivors include his mother and stepfather; father and stepmother; half sister; stepbrother; grandparents; great-grandparents; aunts; uncles; cousins; special friend. Graveside services and interment was July 31, 2002 with the Rev. Bill White officiating. Miller Funeral Home of Maryville, TN was in charge of the arrangements.

Michael James Allison, 23, of Maryville, died at 1:45 a.m. Sunday, September 17, 2000, at U. T. Hospital. Member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. Former member of Memorial Baptist Church until he was 13 years of age, then went to Piney Grove Baptist Church until he was 16 years old. Graduated from Heritage High School. He is currently employed by Lee's Chicken and owner operator of Rainbow Lawn and Landscaping. Michael's philosophy in life was THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE and THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH. Preceded in death by great grandparents, Hubert and Helen Braden; great uncle, Hoyt Ray Lovingood. Survivors include: mother and stepfather, Carol Braden Noce and (Kenny); father and stepmother, Jack Allison and Linda; brother, Gregory Scott Allison; sister, Jennifer Allison; stepbrothers, Jason Freeman and Joey Noce; stepsister, Angie Noce; grandparents, Charles and Myrtle Braden, George (Bud) and Virginia Allison; great-grandmother, Mary Joe Lovingood Russell; aunts and uncles, Lisa and Michael Burchfield, Bob and Diana Braden; special cousin, Kathy Braden; several other family and friends; special friends, Shane and Patrick Sauls, Jeremy Carrigan, Nick and Doug Lewis, Erick Hawkins, Jeremy Carrigan, Tom and Kimberly Sims, Ben Waters and Laura Monroe Householder. Funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2000, in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Joe White, Rev. John Estes, Rev. Bill Hart, and Rev. George Macht officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2000, at Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2000, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary. Family request that all flowers be live outside plants for the service.
