Obituaries
We have started an Obituary Database for Tennessee, several
obituaries have been added for Knox County. To submit your
obituaries, please send them to Tennessee
Genealogy. We prefer all obituaries typed in the following
manner. Obits typed this way can be added to the database quickly
and be put on line faster. Thanks!!
Surname, Given Middle Mrs, Rev. Hon. (use which ever title describes
the person)
County, State Obituaries (Knox County, Tennessee Obituaries)
Text of Obituary
Newspaper if known
Contributed by: (your name)
Cemetery Survey
If you have a survey of the cemetery that is always welcome, we are
preparing a database of cemeteries that will be linked to the
tombstones. These do take a little longer to get online because they
have to fit the database and in many cases they have to be retyped.
